Dixie Bones is a full service restaurant. You may order our BBQ meat on a sandwich, a plate, a potato, or family style. All food can be packed to go.

Sorry, we dont take reservations. Occasionally, we have a line, but we're very fast. Once you get a table, your food will be served quickly! Carry-out takes just a few minutes 10 at the most. Order in person or call ahead (703.492.2205). We are happy to take phone orders.

We do not accept personal checks, American Express or Discover. We do take MasterCard & Visa & tolerate cash.

BBQ Facts
We want you to have plenty of food for your guests & family. Not too much & certainly not too little. We use the following guidelines to determine the amount of food you might need.

A pound of BBQ makes 4 good sized sandwiches or 3 plates.
A pint of sides makes 2 servings. A quart makes 4 servings.
When offering 2-3 sides figure 5 servings per quart.
A pound of sausage is 4 links.
There are about 12 bones in a rack of ribs.
Sauces come with plates, sandwiches & Family style BBQ.
Our rolls, cornbread & pies are homemade, here, every morning.
A pound of catfish is about 12 pieces.
We cut 7 pieces from a pie.
