Serving with Heart: Dixie Bones Supports the TAPS National Military Survivor Seminar

For the Annual National Military Survivor Seminar in Arlington, Virginia, TAPS welcomed thousands of surviving military families from across the country. This gathering is a sacred space for healing, connection, and remembrance, and it requires partners who can deliver excellence with both professionalism and heart.

Over the course of six major TAPS events spanning 2010 through 2025, Dixie Bones has consistently provided dependable, full-service catering at an extraordinary scale—most recently serving 1,300 attendees with warmth, efficiency, and care. For this event, their team created a seamless dining experience through four buffet stations and eight serving lines, ensuring families were served quickly and comfortably without long waits.

Beyond logistics, Dixie Bones demonstrated a genuine commitment to quality and hospitality—chopping authentic Southern barbecue on site and delivering a fresh, nourishing meal that allowed families and TAPS staff to focus fully on what mattered most: one another.
