Pie Temptation

In Homemade Crust We Trust: A Peek Inside the Temptation Fridge

Let’s be honest: one of the hardest jobs at Dixie Bones isn't tending the smokers—it's trying to walk past our dessert refrigerator without "accidentally" grabbing a fork. We call it the Temptation Fridge, and once you see our homemade pies, you’ll understand why!

A Sweet Struggle

For 30 years, we’ve been stocking this fridge with our signature Chocolate and Coconut pies. Our staff works hard to stay out of it, but we can't blame them! Every day we make pie right here in our Woodbridge kitchen using real milk, fresh cream, and recipes that have been part of the family since day one. Then there is our delicious Southern pecan pie made with butter, brown sugar, and fresh eggs.  Pie Specials:  On Thursday, we make Lemon Chess pie, and on Saturday, Sweet Potato Pie from fresh sweet potatoes.

Our hand made crusts are so good!  Using lard, creates a flaky mouth-watering crust that is unbeatable.  As good as your grandmothers.

Easy as Pie

Whether you’re a fan of rich, dark chocolate topped with a mountain of whipped cream or you prefer the creamy dream of our coconut pie, or hunger for a slice of the Southern pecan pie, we’ve got a slice with your name on it. We don't do factory-made; we do "homemade with love."

Next time you’re in the Occoquan - Woodbridge area for some BBQ, make sure you save a little room. Our pies are the ultimate Southern comfort food, and we promise they’re worth every bite. Just try to beat our staff to the last slice!
